Biasi UK: Collaborating to achieve high-end, unique, exciting exhibition spaces

Biasi UK Ltd was formed in 1990 to promote the group’s products throughout the UK and is a leading supplier to the UK heating industry for residential and commercial boilers. They have a strong focus on sustainability and provide a range of electric and hydrogen-ready boilers.

Project overview

Since early 2023, Scaramanga has been Biasi UK’s marketing partner, creating all their social media content and managing their exhibition marketing.

In June 2024, for the second year running, Scaramanga collaborated with exhibition specialists Showplace to create a slick, branded and creative exhibition space for Biasi at the principal industry annual trade show at the NEC – the Installer Show.

We also managed all the social media marketing for Biasi, in the lead-up, during the show and afterwards, to maximise reach, engagement and brand exposure.

Exhibition stand design and branding

Biasi exhibited at the Installer Show 2024 with their largest and most eye-catching stand to date, where they launched their new product lines including Antares, Easy Hybrid Systems and Multiparva.

A lot of planning, time and design work goes into producing a high-quality stand.

We worked with Ravinder Singh Tittrea, Biasi’s Technical and Board Director, to agree the stand layout and design. We followed the corporate brand guidelines to create consistent branding throughout and have an impact where the products would be the “heroes” of the show.

Production

Showplace printed all the stand graphics onto stretch fabric over a custom frame that they constructed, making the stand reusable and sustainable.

To build in greater flexibility and reuse of the stand, we used Foamex panels, in the same colour as the stand walls, to display product information. These can be moved and placed anywhere, so can be adapted and re-used depending on the layout of any future stand.

Working with Showplace

Showplace constructed the stand, printed all the graphics and took delivery of the boilers in advance of the show to ensure the construction would all work as intended. They also undertook the health and safety forms and risk assessment.

They built the stand at the NEC and then dismantled it and are storing it for the next show Biasi will need it for.

Testimonials

“The great thing about Showplace is their dedication to the production and building of the exhibition stands and making sure everything is as it should be. Their attention to detail and project management make them stand out from other companies.”

Technical challenges

There were a number of technical challenges we had to address, including the layout of Biasi’s range of boilers which were wall mounted – we had to make sure the weight was evenly distributed and that the stand was constructed to manage the weight, with each boiler weighing between 30kg and 35kg.

Showplace also designed plinths for Biasi’s new commercial boiler and air source heat pump, which form part of Biasi’s new hybrid boiler, both of which were too heavy to be hung. The plinths were designed so that the units were level with all the others and looked flush.

Social media marketing

Our team also worked on Biasi’s social media campaign for the event. Our team ensured the content created was in synergy with branding, and tone of voice and gave everyone a sneak peek of what they were in store for if they visited the Installer Show.

New products were also showcased and highlighted to inform the public about upcoming releases and why visiting Biasi’s stand would benefit their company.

Outcome

Visitors to their stand included MPH Magazine, Martin and Mark from City of Bristol College and they even had a helping hand from TomKat Gas Training who provide online training on YouTube gas engineers, trainee gas engineers and plumbers from TomKat Gas Training Ltd who has a following of over 40k on YouTube.

The event was a great success for Biasi, and their stand gained a lot of traction during the exhibition, generating a very successful product launch to their key market for their new hydrogen-ready ranges.
